Som heads the Accounting, Tax and Account Services team at Gate Gourmet Inc. In his current role Som is responsible for the overall accuracy of company’s financial transactions, continuous improvement of shared services process efficiency and controls. Som believes that success of shared services is dependent on superior customer service leveraging sound processes, internal controls, systems, and passionate team members. Prior to Gate Gourmet, Som had worked with Global Organizations in Asia, Europe and the USA. He holds a MBA and Master of Accounting from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School at Chapel Hill and BS Engineering from NIT, Jamshedpur.
