Credit card payments are the fastest growing payment channel in B2B and continued growth is expected as more Accounts Payable departments adopt new payment strategies. For a seller, these payments are especially tricky due to challenges with fees, security and processing. Credit Professionals are faced with the difficult task of formulating a card acceptance strategy that satisfies their customers, minimizes costs and weeds out inefficiencies.

This discussion will review strategies and technologies that can be deployed by Accounts Receivable teams to address these challenges.

Specific areas covered will include: trends in credit card usage, different card acceptance channels and the challenges they pose to a seller, strategies to lower fees, regulations relating to surcharging, security concerns, and how to optimize virtual card acceptance.
