Businesses strive to increase the speed and frequency of inbound payments from customers – but what happens when accepting payments leads to reduced margins and operational inefficiencies? That’s what Medela, a market-leading breast pump supplier, struggled to overcome. While business was booming, Medela found it increasingly difficult to keep payment processing costs and cash application inefficiencies to a minimum due to the growing diversity of payment methods being used by their customers.

Join Nick Babinsky, Director of Business Development at Billtrust, and Tina Schneider, Credit & Accounts Receivable Manager at Medela where they’ll uncover how Medela overcame their payment acceptance challenges. You’ll learn how Medela:

  • Leveraged an EIPP solution to improve customer satisfaction and streamline cash posting
  • Automated emailed virtual card payments and reallocated headcount
  • Reduced credit card interchange fees by 0.26%
  • Optimized their invoice-to-cash process
