1099-NEC not included in the IRS Combined Federal/State Filing Program

Q. I have just heard this: "An IRS publication released on the 14th, revealed that the 1099-NEC will not be included in the IRS 1099 Combined Federal/State Filing Program. This means 1099-NEC filers who rely on the combined program for state filings will need to find an alternative state filing option".
