1099 reporting for a vendor who switched from a corporation to an LLC

Q.  We have a supplier who went from an Inc to LLC in 2017. The letter informing us of the official name change is dated October 2, 2017, the W-9 that lists the name change was signed on May 17, 2017. Somehow we did not receive notification of the name change until February 2019 so all payments where issued to the the Inc. We have since updated our system to reflect LLC and my question is do we need to go back and issue and report a 1099 for 2017 and 2018. A. No.  Since you did not make…
