Credit balance recovery on corporate cards

Q. I'm wondering if you could share good practices for the recovery of credit balances on corporate credit cards, specifically AMEX. (I.e, who is generally the owner? Statement in the policy? Timings? Audits? Strategy to clean up?) This is for a global company, so might the easiest way be reclassifying the amount to another pending credit card? How would we work communication to the employees about the reclass of their balances?
