Forms 1099-MISC reporting NEC

Q. I was not aware of the new 2017 1099 NEC filing requirements when I filed all of my 2017 1099-MISC forms in April 2018 (within my extension due date of 5/2/18). I received a 972GC for one of the many entities I report. I anticipate receiving more because they were all filed with the same TCC control ID in the same file. Is it correct that the penalty is assessed on all forms because they were sent in one file? Did the 8809-extension filed on the FIRE system grant me an extension for all…
