Q. Am I supposed to issue a 1099-MISC for our Board of Directors if they are signed up as an LLC classification S?Example: We have a director that is set up in our system to have their compensation paid to their business account, which is an LLC with a tax classification of S. I am trying to find out if given that we are paying an LLC classification S, do we not issue a 1099? Or, do we have to issue it regardless because they are a director?  A.
