Renegotiating terms during COVID

Q. A few weeks ago there was an inquiry whether companies are looking to change payment terms. I have somewhat of an extension of that question. Are companies looking to renegotiate and achieve some temporary cost savings during the COVID crisis? To use a specific example of the type of thing I am thinking of, our annual recruiting subscription is currently not being utilized as a result of our temporary hiring freeze.
