Should conferences be paid with a PO?

Q.¬†Should conferences be paid on a PO vs a non PO? And if so, what are the reasons supporting that? A. (supplied by the IOFM Advisory Panel) ----- I would not put this type of charge on a PO because a buyer cannot affect the purchase. In other words, he or she cannot negotiate the price or terms. The choices left would be: 1) the Traveler's P-card; 2) Non-PO, or 3) In-house invoice.
