Vendor master file process

Q. My organization is in the beginning stages of attempting to compile a draft for our Vendor Master File process and procedures.Can anyone provide me with a template of Process and Procedures that have already been completed that includes best practices?I obviously will have to customize the document to suit my organization, but I would like to avoid reinventing the wheel if possible. Is there a standard format that is typically used for this document?
