The version of the CPRS course that is available to purchase right now is the version related to reporting 2023 payments. We are currently updating the course for this year (reporting 2024 payments).

Because we have to wait for the IRS to release their most up-to-date guidance on for 2024's end-of-year 1099 reporting season, the course materials will not be done until September 12 (for Live Online course enrollees) or September 19 (for fully on-demand course enrollees). 

If you're planning on buying the Payment Reporting Specialist Certification, it may make more sense for you to purchase the pre-sale product for the 2024 course. The course is currently empty. You will receive access to the materials as soon as they are added to the course (September 9 for the e-book, September 19 for the exam and training video). You have a year to complete the course from date of purchase.
