Q. Last week I attended your 1099 and 1042-S webinar and heard Forms 1042-S would be allowed to be filed in the IRIS system this year. I just wanted to verify that I heard this correctly as I cannot find any information on the IRS website for IRIS or electronic reporting of Forms 1042-S that states or explains this. Where can I find this information? A. (Answered by IOFM's third-party tax experts) No, 1042-S filing is not available in IRIS for calendar year 2023 returns due in 2024. 99996
