Melanie has been an Accounts Payable Professional since 2006 and has been an Accounts Payable Supervisor since 2013. She has a strong background in AP automation and has been on the implementation teams for Powervision, Cortex, SAP, and Ariba.
Her passion is inspiring employees to work together to build efficient processes and healthy team relationships—encouraging them to give their best effort each day to accomplish goals as a united team.
Erika is Accounts Payable Supervisor for Pieridae Energy, Canada's only independent publicly traded liquid natural gas (LNG) company. She has 13 years of experience in accounting roles with a vast knowledge of SAP, including implementation experience with SAP Concur. Her passion is in process improvement and controls implementation.
Arlene joined Quorum Software (Aucerna division) in 2021 as the AP lead. She works with Canadian stakeholders as well as providing AP support to many office locations around the world.
She has more than 15 years’ experience in accounts payable processes including experience with many different types of software. She has also been part of an integration team merging several companies into one accounting system.
Arlene graduated with a Business Administration certificate and has taken several courses in an Accelerated Accounting program.
Christina has held many titles over her 20-plus years with Irving Consumer Products Limited. Her current title is Financial Services Analyst.
Christina works mainly within the Accounts Payable department but provides support for other departments, such as Accounting, Procurement, and Accounts Receivable.
Over the years, she has had the opportunity to play an integral role on four major capital projects. The most recent project was the building of Irving’s newest Tissue Site, located in Macon, Georgia.
The IOFM Canada Chapter will network and share ideas regarding APP2P and ARO2C processes, internal controls, compliance, and regulations, while working cohesively to build a stronger Financial Operations community in Canada.
Outside of the IOFM annual conferences, the chapter will provide the Canadian financial operations community the opportunity to meet on a quarterly basis.
