She is an active member of IOFM’s AP Advisory Panel, has presented at IOFM conferences and panel discussions, and created an on-demand podcast for IOFM on the topic of “Managing Change When You’re Change Averse.”
Throughout her 25-year career as an AP professional, she worked her way up from AP processor to her current managerial position that she has held for 8 years, She is passionate about process improvement and best practices in requisitions, purchase orders, invoice processing, and payments.
Arecka is excited about representing her state of Washington and looks forward to networking with other AP and P2P professionals in the Northwest.
Sherry Stroud, APM, is Benefits, Payroll and Retirement Manager for King County, in Seattle, Washington. She has more than 30 years of leadership, finance and general accounting experience, including 15 years of government experience and 10 years managing accounts payable and accounts receivable across the private and public sectors and in higher education.
Sherry has been a member of IOFM’s Advisory Panel since 2019. She and has participated in IOFM Ask the Expert forums and presented the on-demand IOFM podcast “Overcoming the Imposter Syndrome.”
As an International Federation Certified Life Coach, she works with team members in the areas of leadership training, coaching, continuous improvement, organizational change management, and creative problem-solving.
She looks forward to networking and sharing ideas with the Northwestern Region chapter members.
Tim is Accounts Payable Manager at Mod Pizza. The Seattle, Washington-based company is committed to being the leading employer for individuals facing barriers to finding employment.
A 20-year veteran of AP, Tim manages AP and AR for all of MOD’s corporate-owned stores and support centers, overseeing the processing and payment of $422 million in payables annually,
At MOD, he led the transition of the AP team from a paper-based system to a paperless system, resulting in cost savings, increased efficiency, and improved accuracy. He also contributed to the implementation of a new ERP system.
Tim’s mission is to grow and learn from other professionals in AP, and he encourages others to get involved in the Northeastern Region IOFM Chapter.
