AR and credit responsibilities within the same team

Q. Do you have both AR and credit responsibilities within your AR team? Often I see AR and credit responsibilities in the same role. Does anyone have credit role as a separate position?

The A/R group works all short pays/overpays. Once that is done and there is no resolution, the credit team will then proceed with collections.
We have our own credit team that handles credit duties.
