Q. We have been requiring handwritten signatures on the W-9 per a IOFM W-9 training I attended in June 2024 when it was stated that "eSignatures are not permitted on the Form W-9." We are getting push back on this. The latest argument was: Digital signatures are accepted all the time (this is fastest and easiest for my clients).
