Q. I received a CP2100A for a vendor that was TIN matched with no errors. The W-9 was completed as follows:1) Individual Name2) Business Name, LLC.3) Individual/sole proprietor or single-member LLC checked Part I) EIN provided The TIN match was on the Business Name/EIN combo. The 1099 was issued as Individual Name (1st line), Business Name (2nd line), EIN.
