Q. I attended a webinar on 1042s and one of the instructor's comments was that having a U.S. address on Form W-8BEN-E might be invalid or incorrect. If a W-8BEN-E has a U.S. address, and the reason was the foreign entity has operations in the U.S. and they believe Form W-8BEN-E is the appropriate form to complete instead of say W-8ECI, then how do we proceed with this?
