Q. We are in California and are being billed by out of state vendor for their IT services agreement with no hardware and no software updates supplied. Is this agreement a taxable charge? The service agreement is to upkeep AV hardware and equipment in one of our conference rooms. This agreement is optional, but it is recommended to cover any support needs for all the hardware equipment listed below and the software programing that makes the room work.
