Invoicing company's name does not appear on the W-9

Q. We noticed a vendor's name changed on invoices. When I requested and received the new W-9, the invoicing company's name is not on the W-9 (as DBA or otherwise). Does that name need to be noted on the W-9 to be correct for IRS reporting requirements (as is marked a limited liability company - P partnership)? A.
