Q. When requesting a new TCC code for the IRS IRIS system, should it have any impact on your existing TCC code for the FIRE system?
A.

It does not have a direct impact on the existing TCC for FIRE. However, if you don't use a TCC for three consecutive tax years, the IRS deletes it.
