Q. We have a unique situation with an Amish restaurant which does not accept credit card payments. Also refuses to provide taxpayer ID or Form W-9. They will be providing food for an employee event not held at the restaurant. If they are providing food only and not providing a service (i.e., catering) is this 1099 reportable?  A.
