Q. We would like to confirm which party or parties we need to consider for tax information reporting purposes under two different scenarios. Scenario 1: Party A, a US entity, is contractually obligated to pay Party B, a non-US entity. Party B requests that Party A pay Party C, a non-US entity and a sister entity to Party B (for convenience Party B is asking that payment be made to Party C).
