Q. I am with county government, so we have law enforcement personnel. Per their contract, they are allowed $750.00 per year reimbursement for "uniforms". I understand the uniform itself not being taxable, but I feel they are taking advantage and should possibly be taxed on some of the items (it goes as far as socks and t-shirts for under their uniforms etc.).
