Q. We received a W9 from a vendor that has selected the Business Entity Type of Trust/Estate. On line 1 of the W9 it has the trustees individual name and on line 2 of the W9 it has the name of the trust. However, they are using an SSN as the TIN. Are Trusts allowed to use an SSN? A.
