Q. Please provide guidance on when a 1099 is issued to a partnership. I am under the impression that a partnership should always receive a 1099 if they file as a partnership and not an S Corp or C Corp. It seems the IRS exceptions for S & C corps do not apply to partnerships that are solely partnerships.
