What is a CEU Sponsor?

CEU Sponsors are external organizations that have been pre-approved by IOFM to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to IOFM Certification-holders. 

What is the cost?

The CEU Sponsor subscription is $1,195/year. You will not be invoiced until after your initial application is accepted, and then you can renew annually through a self-service checkout process from your account settings.

What the benefits to becoming a CEU Sponsor? 

While we allow our Certification-holders to submit any high-quality, relevant training from external providers towards their CEU totals, there are a number of benefits to becoming a CEU Sponsor. 

1. Credibility: You will be able to position your organization as an IOFM CEU Sponsor, benefiting from IOFM's position as a thought-leader in the financial operations space.
2. Promotional Opportunities: IOFM CEU Sponsors are listed on our CEU Sponsor Directory and have access to submit events for promotion of the CEU Sponsor Calendar. Our highly-engaged audience of Certification-holders are always looking for more CEU opportunities!  
3. Improved Continuing Education Experience: The expectations we have of our CEU Sponsors are best practices for any organization seeking to offering a continuing education program. Following our CEU Sponsor expectations can help provide a smoother experience for any IOFM Certified attendee and can help you build or strengthen the infrastructure to needed to support any type of continuing education you choose to offer. 

How much does it cost to be a CEU Sponsor?

The cost is $500/year. You are invoiced after your initial application is accepted. 

What are the expectations of CEU Sponsors?

We expect our CEU Sponsors to meet certain standards in content, marketing and certificates. 

Content

• Your continuing education must be relevant, timely and actionable to at least one of the areas of study in our certification programs (AP, P2P, AR, O2C)
• If you are an authorized provider of NASBA CPEs, we will automatically pre-approve your content for CEUs on a 1 CPE = 1 CEU basis.

Marketing

• After content is approved and any applicable fees paid, you need to list the IOFM CEU Sponsor Statement, Sponsor logo and the number of CEUs they will earn for this offering on your website.
• CEUs are calculated on a 1 hour = 1 CEU basis. 
• These marketing materials (CEU Sponsor Statement/Logo) will be provided to you after you pay your CEU Sponsor subscription fee. 

Certificates

You are responsible for sending a certificate of completion to registrants with:

1. Full name
2. Event/Course Name
3. Date of Completion
4. Number of IOFM CEUs (hours)

At minimum, this should be sent to anyone with an IOFM Certification who requests it. However, it is best practice to proactively send certificates of completion to all registrants.

If you are an authorized provider of NASBA CPE credit, you can use your NASBA CPE certificate of completion to satisfy this requirement. No additional edits needed.
