Virginia St. Hilaire, BS, BM
President 

Virginia, Accounts Payable Manager, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, has 40 years of experience in Accounts Payable, working in the theatre, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. Her experience in these different industries and her interaction with diverse cultures has brought Virginia a wealth of practical knowledge that has enhanced her leadership skills and helped her create an outstanding AP operation. Virginia is passionate about tax compliance issues and was a speaker at a recent IOFM conference on the topic of Vendor Payment Fraud. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Phoenix and is a member of the IOFM Advisory Panel.

Mindi Cain, APS, APM
Vice President

Mindi is the Corporate Manager of Accounts Payable at Darr Equipment LP, a wholesaler of industrial machinery equipment and warehouse solutions provider. She has over 20 years of experience in multiple industries as an AP professional. She currently leads a team of six people and is passionate about process improvement and is committed to training AP professionals to perform, using best practices.

Mindi earned her BA in Business Administration from Milligan University.

She is pleased to serve as Vice President of the Texas Chapter of the Institute of Finance & Management. She also serves as a member of the IOFM Advisory Panel, and is a Certification Trainer for IOFM. In this capacity, she provides certification candidates an understanding of best practices and fosters a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Amie Puppos, APM, APPM, CPRS
Secretary 

Amie is the Manager of Accounts Payable at Vericast, located in San Antonio, Texas. With more than 30 years in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, she has an extensive background in staff management and administration, corporate card administration, expense management, cash management, P2P, payroll, GL accounting, and SOX compliance. Her rich experience as an accounting professional and her commitment to professional development have helped her adapt to the constantly evolving accounting processes, rules, and technologies in financial operations. Amie has been a member of IOFM’s AP Advisory Panel since 2016.

The Texas IOFM Chapter networks and shares ideas regarding AP and P2P processes, internal controls, compliance, and regulations while working cohesively to build a stronger Financial Operations community in the state of Texas.

Our chapter provides the Texas financial operations community the opportunity to meet virtually on a quarterly basis.
