Early this Spring, IOFM began an initiative to launch a chapter in an unrepresented region on the IOFM map—the Northwestern Region of the United States.
In starting this chapter, IOFM acknowledges and celebrates its members from the Northwestern Region, incorporating the state of Alaska, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota. (Hawaii is also welcomed, since it does not yet have a chapter of its own.)
The Northwestern Region IOFM Chapter will officially launch in September 2025 and will become part of IOFM’s network of nine chapters in the United States and Canada.
About the New Chapter
The new chapter extends the same benefits as our existing chapters. There is no cost to join and there are no dues or fees to attend the quarterly virtual meetings. Chapter members meet quarterly to benchmark, share best practices, enjoy discussions, and hear presentations on timely issues in financial operations.
In addition to attending IOFM's Spring and Fall national conferences, our IOFM Chapters offer financial operations professionals the opportunity to network and interact with other practitioners.
Earn CEUs for Participating
Chapter meeting attendance earns members CEUs toward maintaining their IOFM Certification. For each quarterly meeting, attendees can self-report 1 CEU per meeting hour (meetings are generally one hour). Chapter officers earn extra CEUs. They can claim 2 CEUs for each meeting hour. (IOFM encourages interested parties to volunteer for leadership roles!)
Please say hello to the Northwestern Region Chapter’s leadership team! A hearty welcome to these outstanding officers:
Please view the officers’ bios on the Northwestern Region’s chapter page at: https://www.iofm.com/community/chapters/northwestern-region
IOFM invites AP professionals to sign up now for the chapter at their earliest convenience so that the leaders can get your input and feedback before the official launch date in September. People from outside the region are certainly welcome, too!
Note: This chapter will primarily focus an AP and P2P topics and best practices. For a more comprehensive AR- focus, accounts receivable professionals are encouraged to enroll in IOFM’s Accounts Receivable Chapter at https://www.iofm.com/community/chapters/accounts-receivable.
