Q. Is a payment to the parking facility/operator 1099 tax reportable? Would it be a 1099NEC form? (This is not an employee benefit of the parking vendor we are paying.) A. (Answered by IOFM's third-party tax expert) Yes, such a vendor would be providing services and so reportable on 1099-NEC (pending exceptions such as the corporate exception, i.e. if the facility operator is a corporation, then no 1099 is issued). #122055
