Q. We have vendors that submit Form W-9 with a parent company name on line 1 and DBA on line 2, which is a disregarded entity with its own EIN. We are making the payment to the DBA. Keeping in mind this is a disregarded entity:If a parent company's NAME is on line one, would the EIN need to be the parent company's EIN?If the parent company is a Corporation that would be exempt, does that mean the DBA we are paying would be exempt?
