A 1099 that needs to be voided

Q. I submitted a 1099 NEC to the IRS and an individual that should not have received one. I mailed the 1096 with Copy A to the IRS already. I need to know how to resubmit this with a VOID since they should not have been sent. We mailed our forms through the mail because we only had around 75 forms. Do i need to send a new 1096 with zero since it needs voided? Do i put the exact amount on Copy A and just mark VOID or do I put the amount of zero? Also do I need to resend a Copy B to the recipient…
