Q. If a vendor changes the company structure from an individual using their SSN to a business name using an EIN but never sent a revised W-9, to whom should we issue the 1099? All payments were made under the original W-9 information. Should we simply correct going forward or issue to the 1099 using the new W-9 information, even though our ERP will not match? A.
