Q. I received a W-9 from a vendor that specifies two EIN numbers, one for a disregarded entity. Questions: What is a disregarded entity and how do we need to treat it? Which EIN number do I store on file? Since vendor has the C Corp box checked, I will tag it to be excluded from 1099 reporting; please confirm.
