Handling Vendor Invoices with Different Legal and DBA Names

Q. A vendor submitted a w9 with their invoice. A company name is in section one and a dba in section 2. The EIN matches the company name but not the dba name. The invoice only has the dba name on it. Is this acceptable or would the vendor need to correct their invoice showing the company name (works with EIN).
