Liability for uncollected sales tax

Q. We have a vendor that has gone through a sales and use tax audit with Wisconsin. They found out they should have been charging us sales tax when they did not. They are now coming back and looking to charge us sales tax for invoices from 2013 to 2018. We did pay use tax to Wisconsin on all but a couple of invoices and the total of sales and use tax that was missed on our end is $95.47. Do we owe them the sales tax on these old invoices? They are for years that we have closed. They invoiced us…
