Q. We have received a W-9 with the individual's name on line one, their business name on line 2 and utilizing an EIN in Part I - checking the Individual/Sole proprietor or single member LLC box. When we check their information on the IRS TIN matching site, we get a match between the business name and the EIN, but not between the EIN and individual's name on line one.
