1099 reporting of awards for supplier incentive payments

Q.¬†We have a rech rewards program that we engage with our suppliers to incentivize them to install our equipment. In doing an analysis, we have identified that we have approximately 47 suppliers that have received $600 or more in tech rewards in the form of gift cards. We are planning on reaching out to this group to request a W-9 after the fact but before our 1099s are sent at the end of the year.
