Q. We have several vendors that are completing their W-9 as follows: —Line 1 Individual's name—Line 2 LLC Business Name—Line 3a checked LLC, filled in S—Part 1 Social Security Number I am not sure how to report these payments. Can individuals file as S corps? A. (Answered by IOFM's third-party tax experts) The W-9, in this case, should NOT show the SSN of the owner of the business.
