Q. Should we use the 'Rev. January 2024' or the 'January 2022' version of the 1099-MISC to file our taxes for the 2023 tax year? A. (Answered by IOFM's third-party tax experts) The IRS revised the Form 1099-MISC online PDF to eliminate the last page (page 8 of the PDF) which contained "Instructions for Payer".  The form layout, boxes and box captions haven't changed.  If your question is which can you use for the Recipient copy, it can be either version.  For filing to the IRS you'll be filing…
