Q. I'm being asked to set up a supplier for a U.S. person living in a foreign country. I have questions and have searched the IRS Website but haven't found the answers. First, what form should they submit, W-8 or W-9? As a citizen, I think a W-9, but as a resident of a foreign country, should it be a W-8? Second, should we be deducting federal income tax or other taxes since the individual is a U.S. citizen working independently in another country? They own the company and file as an individual…
