W-9 Address vs. ERP Address: Best Practices for Vendor Onboarding

A. Could you please clarify whether the address on a W9 form needs to match the address listed in our ERP SAP system when onboarding vendors? We have received several requests where the vendor's address on the W9 differs from what is in our system. What is considered best practice in this situation?
