A recent AR O2C study, Benchmarking: Cash Application Practices and Metrics, found that the average company received 12 percent of its payments via credit cards. Companies may soon decide to start charging more to customers who pay by credit card, thanks to a $7 billion settlement reached between a retailer group and the two largest credit card companies.
