AI in Excel for Finance and Accounting Teams

AI is showing up everywhere in Excel, but for finance and accounting teams, the question isn't whether to use it, it's where it actually earns its place in the workflow, and where the spreadsheet still does the real work.

In this 45-minute session, we'll get hands-on with the tools reshaping day-to-day spreadsheet work: using Copilot in Excel live to clean up a messy export, build formulas from plain-language prompts, and summarize a dataset without leaving the grid. We'll then look at the new AI functions, like COPILOT, and how they can pull structure out of unstructured text such as invoice descriptions, vendor notes, and expense memos.

Because this is accounting work, trust and traceability matter. We'll cover the guardrails: how to review what the AI produces, when to rely on it, and how to keep an audit trail your controller will actually accept.

You'll leave with a practical starting point, the three workflows worth trying first, and what to leave alone for now, plus time for live Q&A.
