As artificial intelligence tools become increasingly accessible, tax and finance professionals are finding new ways to streamline complex reporting processes, including the often-time-consuming work of managing Form 1099 and Form 1042 compliance. This session will explore how AI can be thoughtfully incorporated into your information reporting workflow, from improving data accuracy to navigating the nuances of IRS guidance.
Attendees will walk away with practical, hands-on strategies they can begin applying right away. Topics will include key considerations for evaluating and using AI tools responsibly, approaches to strengthening data mapping so fewer errors slip through, and techniques for using Excel macros to review and validate data more efficiently. We'll also cover how to leverage existing IRS guidance to support accurate, defensible reporting decisions.
Whether you're just starting to explore AI in your reporting process or looking to build on what you already have in place, this session is designed to meet you where you are and give you tools to move forward with confidence.
