Preparing For 1099-MISC Changes

On-demand Webinar | Free

More than half of Form 1099-MISC has changed for 2020 reporting. The most significant change is that the IRS will no longer forward your filing to the appropriate state. Instead, this is your responsibility.

And states have individual reporting requirements, and some have their own forms, so you will need to research the states’ requirements first before filling in those boxes on the new 1099-MISC.

You aren’t alone if you don’t feel prepared for the February 1 deadline. Most ERPs and related AP automation systems have yet to provide relevant patches, in part, because many states have yet to update their reporting requirements.

Join IOFM Executive Editor Jess Scheer and a panel of AP leaders as they unpack this challenge and shares practical and tactical process changes you should consider.

This free webinar is brought to you by IOFM.
